Sitting quietly on my front step one autumn afternoon and I heard a giant *Plop* this poor girl had fallen into a big plie of leaves so I picked her up and sat her where I can once again get an fantastic macro opportunity it seems something had got a hold of her, she was missing two legs on one side but none the less a wonderful insect who stayed around for quiet a while, then again wouldn't you if someone had just saved you from having more legs ripped off.

Especially the top image, there's so much clarity of detail in that one. Yay for insects that pretend to be leaves! I hope it didn't find life without legs too hard, how is the insect world for disabled access?! Still, it's certainly a most prettiful creature, which reminds me, I ought to show you my moth sometime!
